Travel credit
Travel doesn’t always go according to plan — but at least travel credits help you pick up where you left off.
Norse travel credits may be issued when your flight has been cancelled or disrupted by Norse, when you are unable to travel due to medical or bereavement circumstances, when you cancel a Flextra ticket within its refundable period, or in other eligible situations.
For full fare conditions, please see our Fare Rules page.
Travel credits issued for medical or bereavement reasons are valid for 3 months. These credits apply only to passengers included in the same booking or to immediate family members. Immediate family members are limited to parents, spouses, children, and siblings.
All other credits are valid for 12 months, unless otherwise stated. Travel credits can be used to book any Norse Atlantic Airways flight currently published or ancillary on flynorse.com, and the travel date does not need to fall within the credit’s validity period — only the booking must be completed before the credit expires.. They cannot be used at the airport, onboard, or with other airlines.
How to Use Your Travel Credit
A travel credit is tied to the passenger’s last name on the original booking. Any passenger from the original reservation may use the credit as long as the last name matches the new ticket. Additional passengers on the new booking do not need to match the original booking.
To redeem your credit:
- Start a new booking on flynorse.com.
- On the payment page, select "Travel Credits" and Vouchers, then choose "Use Norse Credit".
- Enter the original booking reference (PNR) associated with the credit and select "Verify".
- Your credit will be applied automatically.
- If the credit covers the full amount, the booking will complete and any remaining balance stays available until expiry.
- If the credit does not cover the full amount, you can pay the difference using another payment method.
Only one Norse travel credit can be applied per reservation during the initial booking payment stage. Travel credits cannot be combined or stacked.
Refund Rules
Tickets purchased under non‑refundable fare rules cannot be refunded to the original payment method. In these cases, the only refund option available is a travel credit. This also includes Flextra tickets, which — outside the 24‑hour cancellation window are refundable only in the form of a travel credit up until 2 days before departure.
If the original booking was paid using travel credits, any eligible refund will be automatically returned as a new travel credit, and this new credit will have a fresh 12‑month validity from the date it is issued.
